“Laura has lived with ME/CFIDS for over 25 years. She has spent the majority of those years with a severe case, bed or house-bound, and has experienced many medical practitioners not understanding her disease and/or not being able to help in any real way. While there is still very limited understanding of what causes the disease, and Mum continues to work with a wide variety of practitioners to try and improve her pain, function, and quality of life, the Open Medicine Foundation has provided a huge amount of encouragement for her simply knowing intelligent medical researchers value researching the debilitating disease she has lived with for almost three decades.”
