It’s three weeks into our #MayMomentum campaign. The results to date have been remarkable, and we are so grateful! Your support in May gives us the confidence year-round to forge ahead in uncertain times and the resources to plan for the future of our fight against Myalgic Encephalomyelitis / Chronic Fatigue Syndrome (ME / CFS) and other chronic complex diseases.
You can be confident that your donation to OMF will support the single largest, concerted effort to understand, treat, and eventually cure ME / CFS and the myriad of related diseases.
During #MayMomentum, we have announced the Mestinon treatment trial and the groundbreaking study on the projected emergence of ME / CFS in post-COVID patients. Next week, we will end our campaign with the announcement of another treatment trial that builds on our researchers’ previous work and demonstrates the value of your investment of time.
OMF is very proud of our accomplishments to date. In less than ten years, we have gathered many of the world’s foremost researchers into a cohesive effort to understand a disease almost wholly ignored by the research establishment until recently.
OMF still has a long way to go, but we work every day to uncover opportunities to attract resources and level the research playing field. We sincerely hope that you will join our worldwide community and support OMF during #MayMomentum.
And especially this year, we would like to encourage you to become a “Sustaining Donor.” Your monthly gift of any size is multiplied over the year, enabling OMF to sustain the momentum!
People with ME / CFS have been trapped in a state of lockdown for years, and for some, a lifetime. It’s time for a change. It’s time to end lockdown for the #millionsmissing so that they can return to their lives, and to protect the millions more who may be at risk for developing ME / CFS in the aftermath of COVID-19.
Please join our efforts today.
Please give to #MayMomentum
