My question is about the “genius virus” idea from earlier. Do the researchers feel that a mystery genius virus is the root cause of ALL ME / CFS cases? What about those who got sick after trauma/accident/environmental exposure, etc, who meet the ME-ICC criteria, have PEM, but who did not get sick after a viral infection?
